What it solves

Calculators for business, finance, lifestyle, and operational decisions are scattered across single-purpose websites, and most don't let users adjust assumptions, compare scenarios, interpret results, or see what to do next. Each new calculator normally means rebuilding a bespoke page, which does not scale to hundreds of tools.

Built for People making business, finance, lifestyle, and operational decisions across many industries.

Overview

Mega Calculate (FormulaOS) is a universal calculator platform where each industry acts like a sub-app inside one product. Users pick an industry, open a calculator hub, adjust inputs with sliders and toggles, and instantly see outputs, charts, risk levels, benchmarks, and recommendations. Calculators are defined as structured configuration — inputs, formulas, outputs, charts, benchmarks, and methodology — and executed by a shared formula engine, so new calculators are added by configuration rather than new code. Scenario Mode lets users save, duplicate, and compare runs side by side.

What this demonstrates

The central capability is a dynamic, config-driven calculator engine: a registry of calculator definitions plus a formula-execution layer supporting compound growth, amortization, ROI/IRR-style math, break-even, and weighted scoring, with input/output renderers driven entirely by metadata. Validation and audit scripts check the registry, calculator correctness, and color contrast. State and real-time recalculation are handled on the client.

What makes it different

This is not a calculator website. FormulaOS is a universal decision-intelligence platform where every industry is its own calculator hub inside one engine.

  • One dynamic engine, not hardcoded calculatorsCalculators are defined by config so new ones are added without rebuilding the frontend.
  • Simple for users, powerful underneath
  • Every industry is its own sub-appEach category markets separately while feeding one subscription platform.
  • Every result is understandableEach calculator answers what to input, what you get, what it means, and what to do next.

How it is built

A Next.js/React application (statically exported for hosting on Netlify) with a config-driven calculator registry — each calculator is structured metadata for inputs, formulas, outputs, charts, and benchmarks, run by a shared formula engine. Client state is managed with Zustand and charts render via Recharts; there is no backend at build/runtime.
